OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WITH MISSING TEETH<\/span><\/p>\n

Dental Implant<\/b><\/p>\n

A dental implant is a surgical procedure in which a replacement tooth root is placed and fused with the jawbone.<\/span><\/p>\n

While dental implants work well when replacing a single tooth, they may not be the best option for replacing multiple teeth. However, dental implants provide the look and feel of natural teeth.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it is not right for everyone, as a dental implant requires surgery and often costs more than bridges or dentures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fixed Bridge<\/b><\/p>\n

Quite simply, a fixed bridge bridges the gap between one or more missing teeth.<\/span><\/p>\n

The process of installing a fixed bridge usually involves multiple visits to the dentist, as the process of placing the implant, customizing the bridge, and replacing the missing teeth with the bridge takes time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Removable Partial Prosthesis<\/b><\/p>\n

A removable partial denture consists of replacement teeth for a small portion of missing teeth and functions normally.<\/span><\/p>\n

While removable partial dentures are great for chewing and aesthetic appeal, they are much less durable than a dental implant or bridge and can be uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, they are typically the least expensive thread replacement option available and are easy to repair once any damage occurs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Removable Full Prosthesis<\/b><\/p>\n

Depending on how many teeth you currently have, removable full dentures can be quite invasive and require multiple visits to the dentist.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike removable partial dentures, where only some of the missing teeth are replaced, a removable full denture is used to replace most, if not all, teeth.<\/span><\/p>\n

While a removable full denture is both aesthetic and functional, it can be uncomfortable and should not be worn 24 hours a day.<\/span><\/p>\n
